Field service software vs Alastor Global.
Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan are office software. They schedule the job, send the invoice, take the payment. They start working after a customer has already booked. We work on the part before that: the call you missed, the form nobody answered, the quote that went quiet. Most businesses need both. They are not the same purchase.
If your trucks are busy and the office is a mess, buy the software. If the phone rings and nobody catches it, or people ask for a quote and disappear, software will not help. That is the part we fix, and it runs in front of whatever software you have.
Here is the test. Open your phone. Count the calls last week that rang out while you were working. Count the quotes you sent that never got an answer. Jobber and Housecall Pro do nothing about either one. They are excellent at running the job once it exists. We catch the lead before it becomes a job: a text back within a minute of a missed call, a text to every form within a minute, a quote that gets chased on a schedule until the customer answers. The booking then lands in your software like any other. Two truck or twenty, the front door comes first.

When the software is the right buy
Three or more trucks, a dispatcher, invoices going out every day. You need the schedule board and the payments. Buy it. Jobber and Housecall Pro are both fine, and the first tier is enough for most shops.
When it is not the answer
One or two trucks, the owner answers the phone, and the complaint is "not enough calls" or "they ask for a quote and vanish." Software cannot fix a phone that rings out. Fix the front door first and buy the software when the volume needs it.
How they fit together
We sit in front of your software. The lead gets caught, texted and booked, and the booking lands in Jobber or Housecall Pro. The quote chasing runs on QuoteBump, our own product: it follows up on every estimate by text and email, on a schedule, and stops the moment the customer answers.
Questions about this.
Do you replace Jobber or Housecall Pro?
No. We connect to them. Our system handles the lead before it becomes a job. The software handles the job.
Can you help me pick one?
Yes, and the answer is usually the cheaper one that your office will actually use. Most shops under three trucks do fine on the first tier.
What if I already pay for ServiceTitan and still miss calls?
That is the most common call we get. The software is doing its job. The front door was never built. That is the part we build.
